I don't think Lazar will get his shot till they feel he is ready. Throwing in and having him struggle does nothing for anyone.

I would not be surprised if they send him down to work on his game for the rest of this year and then give him the big shot next year.

They need to get Lazar into the line up tonight, its the easiest game they have for they next little while so it would be good for him to gain some confidence, as well as for the Flames to truly see what they may have. It would allow them to see how he could be utilized come playoffs.

Will they just keep Lazar in the press box all year or send him down? Or can they even send him down?

Who comes out to make room ? Chaisson has actually looked decent as have the others on the 4th line. I'd let him wait and hopefully get in a couple games after we clinch (fingers crossed).

Agreed. His impact on the team seems positive. He should take a game or two off from the powerplay, but I don't really care about his poor stats.

Even he's been half decent on the 4th line lately. We just won 10 games in a row, don't really think it'd be fair to the players in the room to take anyone out after that

Only way Lazar should be drawing in should be because of an injury. Maybe Lazar could be sort of a rover, subbing in for players who need a maintenance day?

If Tkachuk really is banged up and would benefit from a night off then I hope we sit him for a game or two. Can't afford to have guys like him limping into the playoffs.
